Whispering Windows

The clouds shook hands and the river met rocks
That night, the window had no locks
Throwing the curtains away in the air
Mesmerized in the scene so rare

Gazing at the view outside
so pretty , captivating my mind
I stood spellbound and still
As the nature acted like a sweet pill

Stretching my palm outside
Rain droplets taking away all my pride
Softening my hands, making them pale
And then suddenly I saw a nightingale
Soaring high above drenched in water
Like I was drenched in memories forever

Pounding over the limitless expanse of the skies
And the trail I left behind, my infinite tries
A chilly breeze touched my soul and passed
Awakening me from the dreams at last
Whispering to forget the past
Back, I withdrew my hand fast

That night was a night to remember
When i experienced the bright surrender
Giving me a new meaning to life
Leading me to wonderfully strive
of all that i had dreamt of in my fantasy
Echoing the sounds of freedom with chastity
I heard the whispering windows
